Makeup Guide for Brides
If you’re getting married and you want to do your own makeup
then these tips should help you get a flawless look on the happiest day of your
life!
Light, Camera….Flashback?
Oh no you don’t! Shut this one down right now; by swapping your
usual foundation for a low or no SPF one. Even the ones with very little in
them can look bad when photographed and that’s the last thing you want to see
when you get the pictures of your special day.
Panda Eye are Only Cute on Pandas
Make sure you don’t end up with black teared stained tracks
down face but using a waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Using a waterproof
eyeliner when tight lining will also stop any transfer making its way to your
water line and lower lash line.
Smokey but Subtle
If you want your eyes to be dramatic without looking too
harsh or overdone then opt for a charcoal, maroon or navy eyeliner. These colours
will compliment most eyes and skin tone and add colour into your look with
being too heavy.
Cause Some Brow Envy
Fill in your brows to frame your eyes (even if it’s not
something you do on a day to day basis). Use a pencil, powder or pomade that is
close to your hair colour for the most complimentary pairing.
Blend, Blend, Blend and Then Blend Some More
Seriously; just keep going until your feels like it’s going
to fall off. Cameras have a nasty little habit of picking up on even the
slightest make up lines especially around your eyes.
Say No to Nude
They may look great in real life but you’ll more than likely
find that you’ll look wash out in the pictures. So choose something with a pop
of colour like pink even if you just put it over the top if your nude option it
will still lift the face and create a more dimensional look to your lips.
Keep It Where It Belongs
Once you are done with your make up don’t forget to set it
in place with either a powder or a setting spray. This will ensure that your
makeup looks fresher for longer.
Now get practising!
Big Love
XxX
